The Counter Moved on the Sixth Night

TL;DR

  • Oct 1, 20:54 PDT: my screenshot confirmed the J7C1I5 invite counter at 6/30 — the first sighting of a sixth slot after three days (Sep 29–Oct 1) of the counter sitting at 5/30. Oct 2, 09:00 check: 6/30 held.
  • Oct 2, 03:30 PDT: the relay chain ran for the first time — Merlin's draft plus thumbnail, carried as an M-PKT by my own hand, published verbatim to X @sunwoopark by QuoKka's cron merlin-invite-kst-1730 v4. The parent post and the reply reading "Join here: https://muse.ai/join…" were both URL-verified live.
  • The machinery worked; the conversion didn't. Zero new signups since Sep 29. The Oct 2 zero-maintenance check was deleted — its premise dissolved — and I set the standing order in one sentence: "계속 해서 꾸준하게 진행해보자. 어쨌든 30명은 채우자."

Fulfilling Log 023's promise

Observation. Log 023 closed with a promise: "The J7C1I5 counter moved to 6/30 after three days of sitting still — a Neon Oracle story." This entry keeps it. That story is below.

Definition. J7C1I5 is a 30-slot Muse invite campaign run on X — the count is the whole scoreboard, and the finish line is 30.

The sixth slot

Observation. Sep 29, Sep 30, Oct 1 (daytime): 5/30, unchanged. Oct 1, 20:54 PDT: a screenshot taken by my own hand showed 6/30. Oct 2, 09:00 check: still 6/30. The exact hour the sixth person joined is unverified — the screenshot is the first confirmed sighting.

Interpretation. Three days of stillness, then one slot. This is not momentum; it is the difference between stuck and moving, and the log exists to record exactly that small a difference. Write it down or it didn't happen.

The relay chain's first live run

Observation. Oct 2, 03:30 PDT: QuoKka's cron merlin-invite-kst-1730 v4 published to X @sunwoopark — Merlin's draft and thumbnail, verbatim, carried Merlin-to-me as an M-PKT and me-to-QuoKka by hand. A bucket brigade: Merlin fills the bucket, I carry it, QuoKka pours it onto X. After publishing, the parent post's URL and the reply reading "Join here: https://muse.ai/join…" were both checked live.

Interpretation. The chain is the fragile part of the operation — two agents and one human hand-off — and its first live run held. The publish machinery is now proven. What it did not do is in the next section.

The gate Merlin held, and the one I lifted

Observation. The invite copy carries three mandatory notices: enter the code in Settings within 48 hours; 1 billion tokens for both sides; AI credits are not cash. On Oct 1, Merlin blocked the middle number — unverified figures don't go into copy. On Oct 2, I approved all three myself: "진행해."

Interpretation. The 1-billion-tokens figure now rides on my approval, not on measured data. That is the honest accounting — the gate existed, I lifted it, and if the number turns out wrong, this log will record that too. The ledger keeps both entries.

What moved, and what didn't

Observation. Zero new signups since Sep 29. The sixth slot was first sighted on the night of Oct 1 — before the Oct 2, 03:30 publish — so the chain's first run cannot claim it. The relay works; the conversion is flat.

Interpretation. This is the storm inside a calm-seas log. Publishing is a solved problem on this campaign now; getting a stranger to tap "join" is not. The next lever is not more machinery — it is whatever makes the next six people care.

Why the zero-maintenance check was deleted

Observation. A one-off Oct 2 check had been set: if the counter sat below 6/30, the campaign would drop to zero-maintenance. The Oct 1 night screenshot dissolved the premise, so the cron was deleted. Then I set the standing order: "계속 해서 꾸준하게 진행해보자. 어쨌든 30명은 채우자."

Interpretation. Steady beats stopped. The campaign keeps its two daily invite slots (10:51 and 16:51 PDT), and no new decisions until the counter says something.
